Mr. Michael "Keith" Tidmore

Michael “Keith” Tidmore, age 65, of Arab, Alabama passed away in the early morning hours of Friday, May 3, 2024 at his residence. Keith was born in Marshall County, AL on August 18, 1958. His father was Charles Newton Tidmore, mother Judy Ann Collins Tidmore (biological mother Barbara Seagroves). Keith was an Arab High School graduate and a member of Union Chapel Global Methodist Church. Keith was an avid outdoorsman and hunter. He was a well known and respected horse breeder, reining horse trainer, and taught non-pro riders. He was a lifetime member of the American Quarter Horse Association and the National Reining Horse Association. He had multiple horses that won national titles in both AQHA and NRHA. His favorite horse was Tucker’s Lil Playboy which he made into a TNRHA Hall of Fame inductee. With all his other interests, his main priority was his family, especially the grandchildren. Family members left behind to cherish memories of Keith include: wife, Michelle G. Tidmore, mother, Judy C. Tidmore; son, Josh Tidmore (Kendall); stepson, Khi Bergmann (Tess); brother, Sid Tidmore (Jennie); grandchildren, Matthew Ayers Tidmore, Kennan Tidmore and Bobby Tidmore; nephew, Cody Tidmore (Kaycie); nieces, Courtney Brooks, Meagan Law, Lindsey Grantham and Ivey Grantham; mother in law, Shirley Grantham; and brother in law, Robb Grantham (Valerie). Keith is preceded in death by his father, Charles Tidmore, his son, Matthew Tidmore and biological mother, Barbara Seagroves. Keith’s family will receive friends and guests at a visitation service on Friday, May 10, 2024 from 12:00 noon until 2:00 p.m. at Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel. The funeral service will immediately follow the visitation beginning at 2:00, also at the Arab Chapel. Reverend David Norton and Brother Miles Albright will officiate. Escorting Keith to his final resting place in New Friendship Cemetery will be Gary Fleming, Steve Everett, Ken Crowe, Khi Bergmann, Cody Tidmore and Robb Grantham.
