Mrs. Ann Dyson Michael

August 14, 1946 - October 3, 2020

Mrs. Ann Dyson Michael of Arab, Alabama; passed away surrounded by loved ones in the early hours of Saturday - October 3, 2020 at the age of 74 years. Mrs. Michael was born on August 14, 1946 in Morgan County, Alabama to Floyd Wallace Dyson and Gladys Lorene White Dyson. Mrs. Michael completed her high school career and retired from The Huntsville Times after 28 years as an office manager. Mrs. Ann has been a part of the Arab community for around 10 years and formerly of the Big Cove Area in Huntsville, Alabama. She enjoyed the little things in life such as; gardening and all things floral, traveling, cooking, quilting and most of all spending time with her family and grandchildren. Mrs. Michael will be forever remembered by her beloved husband of 33 years, Joseph “Donnie” Michael; sons, Roger D. Clemons (Jill), Eric G. Kimbrough and Herbert Alan Kimbrough (Billie); son-in-law, Russell H. DeGroff; daughters, Shanna L. Springer and Chrissy Croft (Matt); brothers, Arthur Dyson (Patsy), Wendell Dyson, Carlton Dyson, Jerome Dyson (Mary) and Randall Dyson (Sherri); sisters, Martha Benefield, Lucy Benefield (Clarence) and Loura Causey (Donald); sister-in-law, Dola Dyson; 14 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. In addition to her parents; Floyd Wallace Dyson and Gladys Lorene White Dyson, Mrs. Michael is at last reunited with her son; Joey Michael; daughter, Melissa M. DeGroff; daughter-in-law, Anita J. Kimbrough; brothers, Wallace Dyson, Jeffrey Dyson and Rodney Dyson; brother-in-law, William Benefield; sister-in-law, Edna Dyson Baver. A Visitation will take place at the Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel on Monday - October 5, 2020 from 12:00 noon until service time. Funeral services will take place at the Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel on Monday - October 5, 2020 starting at 2:00 p.m. with Bro. Jimmy Hamaker, officiating. Interment will follow services immediately at the New Canaan Cemetery in Arab, Alabama. Pallbearers escorting Mrs. Michael to her final resting place will be; Benjamin Kimbrough, Jason DeGroff, Ryan DeGroff, Jerry Kimbrough, Christian Wilhold, Darren Causey, Tim Causey and Drew Allen.
