Mr. Charles Edward Thurman

July 22, 1936 - February 12, 2022

Mr. Charles Edward Thurman of Arab, Alabama; passed away in the early hours of Saturday – February 12, 2022 at the age of 85 years. Mr. Thurman was heavenly sent to Charles Benjamin Thurman and Elanor Madlyn Gaines Thurman on the 22nd of July in 1936 in Estaboga, Alabama. Mr. Thurman was a retired Administrator for SBA. He proudly served his country in the United States Army. Charles enjoyed golfing, relaxing on the lake, bowling and Alabama anything. Mr. Thurman leaves his legacy behind to his beloved wife; Dean Thurman; daughter, Melonie Thurman Hall (Michael); Son; Chuck Thurman, sister, Deborah Lacey; grandchildren, Crystal Christian, James Michael hall, Jennifer Childers, Charles Andrew Hall and Blake Thurman; as well as 5 great grandchildren. In addition to his parents; Charles Benjamin Thurman and Elanor Madlyn Gaines Thurman; Mr. Thurman is at last reunited with his; son, Christopher “Chris” Thurman as well as; brothers, Donald Dewayne Thurman and David Warren Thurman. Gathering of friends will be held at Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel on Thursday – February 17, 2022 from 12:00 p.m. – 1:00 p.m. Memorial service to follow at the Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel on Thursday – February 17, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. with Bro.
