Mrs. Jackie Delaney Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

March 22, 1953 -August 3, 2022 Jackie Laquita Delaney Jackie has been called home to be with her Savior Jesus Christ. She was a native of Savannah, Georgia and a resident of Joppa, Alabama for many years prior to her passing. Daughter of the late Joseph C. Delaney and Clara Mae Delaney. Jackie was the mother of three children: sons, Ralph L. Bryant (Michelle) of Horton, Al, Charles A. Bryant (Dawn) of Knoxville, TN and daughter Kelly M Bryant of Murfreesboro, TN. Jackie was survived by her companion Michael W. King and 8 grandchildren; Devon B. Bailey (Kourtney), Dustin R. Bryant (Christian), Zachary A. Bryant, Hunter J. Ayers (Isabella), Connor W. Ayers, Annabelle M. Ayers, Damond & Damir Burch. She is also survived by 4 great-grandchildren. Beloved sister to Josephine Pollard, Donnie& Danny Delaney and the late: Carolina, Kenny, Kerry, James, June, Charlie, Marie and Ronald Sr Also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousin’s and dear friends. Jackie was known for always providing homecooked meals for family and friends. She enjoyed spending time with her “fur baby” Peanut and planting in her outside garden. Jackie was an avid New Orleans Saints “Who dat” and Alabama football fan, “Roll Tide”. She relished in spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Her beautiful smile and kind heart will be deeply missed by everyone that was fortunate enough to have known her. She is now breathing easy with her sisters, brothers, and family in heaven. Graveside Services will be 12:00 P.M. - Saturday August 6, 2022 at Rice Cemetery, Arab, Alabama. Pallbearers escorting Mrs. Delaney to her final resting place are Devon Bailey, Dustin Bryant, Zach Bryant, Hunter Ayers, Conner Ayers, and Max Evans. Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel, Directing.
