Mr. James "Jim" Oliver Bobo

January 5, 1933 - February 20, 2022

Mr. James “Jim” Oliver Bobo of Arab, Alabama passed away at Marshall Medical Center North on Sunday, February 20, 2022 at the age of 89. Mr. Bobo was born to James Floyd Bobo and Lou Alma Owens Bobo on January 5, 1933 in Texas. His interest included hunting, fishing, the Atlanta Braves and the Texas Long Horns. He was an active member of the Arab Masonic Lodge #663, Scottish Rite 32 degree Mason, Cahaba Shiners, and Gillian Spring Baptist Church. Mr. Bobo was proud of his US Army service during the Korean War conflict. Mr. Bobo leaves behind memories to be cherished by his wife of 58 years, Jean Freeland Bobo; son, David Alan Bobo (Tina); grandchildren, Blake Hughes (A.J.), Bailey Holmes (Carter), Devin Smith (Catarina), and Skyler Smith (Destinee Sides); Great-grandchildren, Lincoln Smith, Saylor Smith. The family chose cremation with no service. Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel, directing.
