Mr. Larry Keith Chrestman

November 1, 1946 - March 1, 2022

Mr. Larry Keith Chrestman of Arab, Alabama; transitioned and entered the Gates of Heaven in the early hours of Tuesday - March 1, 2022 at the age of 75 years. Mr. Chrestman was born on November 1, 1946 to the late Virdo Chrestman and Hazel Moore Chrestman in Batesville, Mississippi. He is a native of Crowder, Mississippi and later relocated to Arab, Alabama with his wife in 2002. He worked in commercial real estate for many years and brought over Pass Realty to Arab, AL where he owned and operated as a realtor. Mr. Chrestman was a God-fearing man who loved the Lord. He was a beloved husband, father, and grandfather. He loved his family and was called a friend by anyone who met him. He was a cotton farmer with 100s of acres that he loved to farm and haul cotton. You would more than likely find him on a ‘green’ tractor or lawn mower. He was exceptional in making deals throughout his real estate career. He made goals and achieved them. But above all, he made sure to speak to anyone willing to listen about the Lord and to make sure those closest to him were loved. He would always say, “Never underestimate the power of the Lord”. Mr. Chrestman leaves behind his legacy to his beloved wife, Robin Berry Chrestman; brother, Mike Chrestman (Josephine); sons, Chris Chrestman, Cale Chrestman, and Sam Hallman; daughters, Chelsea Isom (Dempsey) and Carley Kelly (Seth); 7 grandchildren (Paris, Jace, Presley, Porter, Annie, Lucy, and Mac); and 2 great grandchildren (Kade and Maggie); A visitation for Mr. Chrestman will be held at Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel on Friday - March 4, 2022 from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. Funeral service will take place at the Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel on Friday - March 4, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. with Ken Gaylean officiating. Interment is to follow services immediately at Arab Memorial Cemetery. Pallbearers escorting Mr. Chrestman to his final resting place will be: Chris Chrestman, Sam Hallman, Seth Kelly, Dempsey Isom, Logan Berry and Cameron Berry. Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel, directing.
