Lori Ann Tompkins

Mrs. Lori Ann Tompkins age 47 of Arab, Alabama, passed away November 26, 2021 at her residence. Mrs. Tompkins was born in Huntsville, AL to Janice Earnest Capshaw and Douglas Fleming. She was a 1992 graduate of Arab High School. Mrs. Tompkins worked as an office manager for Pulmonary Associates with Marshall Medical Centers prior to leaving due to her illness. Lori most loved spending time with her children and family. She really enjoyed holidays with her family. She would tell you her “happy place” was at the beach and spending time at Lake Guntersville with family and friends. She also loved “junkin” and exploring new adventures. Mrs. Tompkins leaves behind to celebrate her life and legacy, her husband of 12 years Chad Tompkins; children, Hunter and Hannah Bunch; mother, Janice Capshaw; step father; Ronnie Capshaw; sister, Gina Horton (Greg); step brother, Kenny Capshaw; nieces, Lexi Garrison, Kaelie Capshaw; nephews, Giles Garrison, Kooper Capshaw Mrs. Tompkins is preceded in death by her father Douglas Fleming and her grandparents, Margie & Giles Earnest and Argle & Bethel Fleming. Visitation will be held at Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel on Tuesday, November 30, 2021 from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. Funeral service will immediately follow beginning at 2:00 p.m. Lori Tompkins will be laid to rest at Arab memorial Cemetery. Pallbearers escorting Lori to her final resting place will be Nick Cater, Lynn Tompkins, Greg Horton, Kenny Capshaw, Andrew Byars and Wes Ponder.
