Mr. Tom Willice Ragan

March 14, 1935 - April 11, 2022

Mr. Tom Willice Ragan of Lacey’s Spring, Alabama passed away at Hospice Family Care in Huntsville on Monday, April 11, 2022 at the age of 87. Mr. Ragan was born to Boney Ragan and Olive Medley Ragan in Talladega County, Alabama on March 14, 1935. Mr. Ragan worked in the maintenance department of Sanmina/SCI until his retirement. His interest included gardening, tinkering with his tractor, preparing breakfast, and cooking cornbread. Mr. Ragan loved his church and church family, Little Gethsemane House of Prayer in Lacey’s Spring, Alabama. Mr. Ragan leaves behind memories to be cherished by his daughter, Regina Nayman (Greg); son, Jackie Davis; brother, Ray Ragan (Lavonne); grandchildren, Shea Oden (Chris), Brandie Davis, Austin Davis (Dana), Nikki Nayman, Lauren Davis and 5 great grandchildren. Mr. Ragan is at last reunited with his wife, Thelma Davis Ragan; sons, Jim Davis, Tim Davis; brothers, Earl Ragan, G.W. Shavers and Harold Shavers; sisters, Edna McCann, Bernice Mathis, Tommie Smith, Hazel Porter, Frances Shavers, Jennie Sullivan and Joyce Lamb. A visitation will be held at Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel, Wednesday, April 13, 2022 from 12:00 p. m. until service begins at 2:00. Officiating will be Brother Leon Holt and Brother Jerry Atchley. Interment is to follow services immediately at Mt. Olive Cemetery in Morgan City, Alabama. Pallbearers will be Devoy Brown, Austin Davis, Jeff Shavers, Terry Denny, Cody Oden, and Chris Oden. Honorary pallbearers are Billy Hall and Roger Campbell. Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel, directing.
